This month the IPSY BAG came with the theme SUGAR HIGHNESS – leaving a fantasy! The bag came with five samples – as usual –  with a mix of full sizes and deluxe samples! The subscription cost $10 + tax a month. By the way it worth it!

This month the bag was illustrated by Michelle Phan, the Ipsy’s founder to inspire the beautiful dreams in all of us! I have to say I love the design…cute, romantic, really pretty!

1. 111SKIN
Bio Cellulose Facial Treatment Mask

I love masks and this one is perfect for this time of the year when the sun is so hot that it’s impossible to not have some dark spots on my face. The brightening and hydration properties of this mask helps to keep the skin healthy and clear all summer long with lots of SPF too. A must try!

2. Lord&Berry
20100 maximatte crayon lipstick in Intimacy

This crayon lipstick has a very nice and neutral color, suitable to any skin type and great for any occasion. The product has a good pigment and a matte finish. Easy to use, smooth, long-lasting. Great to take in your bag. You’ll just need to have a makeup  sharpener to keep using it!

3.Beauty For Real
I-LINE 24-7 Eyeliner in Black Magic

This is a retractable eyeliner in total black. Very smooth, very pigmented and really long-lasting. After 15 seconds it stays and will not come off! I love this product!

4. Peter Lamas
Supreme Radiance Complexion Booster

This is a tricky product. They say it’s a booster to make the skin more radiant, a brightening for everyday look. First, I was scared by the color. It’s really dark. So I tried just a little bit and it’s really thin and totally sheer on the skin. The smell is terrible though, like  that “plasma” type of cream. It also takes a little bit to completely dry, so don’t panic if you have oily skin. I apply the product on half of my face and what I notice was an instant shine and for sure the skin looked a little brighter..a little. Maybe with day by day use this can be a good boost for those with dull skin. No irritation at all.

5. NYX Professional Makeup

This Illuminator is very concentrated, just a little bit goes a long way. The product disappears in  the skin when dried and it just reflects the light. It has minimal coverage and a bit of shimmer as well.

Well, this was my IPSY BAG of August. I really enjoyed the samples. A bit of everything and everything good and useful.
